Cemetery of fort walla walla, PC: Kris Loewen

Please join the University Church community on this Memorial Day weekend as we pray for and minister to those who have lost loved ones. In particular, we remember with generosity those who gave their lives for causes bigger than themselves, as well as their families who wait eagerly for Jesus' coming.

MUSIC NOTE

We thank two wonderful violinists and teachers for sharing their music with us. Lyn Ritz teaches at the WWU Department of Music, and Amy Dodds just finished another successful year at the Whitman College Department of Music. Thank you both.

The Adagio prior to the sermon comprises an arrangement of two loved hymns, Fairest Lord Jesus (No.240) and I Surrender All (No.309). As you prepare to worship I invite you to meditate on the words of these hymns, some of which are given here:

Fair is the sunshine,
Fairer still the moonlight,
And all the twinkling, starry host; Jesus shines brighter,
Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels heaven can boast.

-Kraig Scott

GIVE

The University Church budget funds many important aspects of our local ministry. Although pastors' salaries are funded by donations marked "tithe", the University Church budget is what subsidizes our amazing K-12 school programs at Walla Walla Valley Academy and Rogers Adventist School. It also makes our worship services and broadcast ministry possible. Thank you for your generous and systematic support!

As always - we welcome your gifts made right here on our website. Click Here to Give!
