Second service is live–streamed weekly in Heubach Chapel as an option for parents with young children who would find that location helpful. In addition, a toddler room is newly renovated, along with a private room for nursing mothers in the balcony. We offer multiple options for your comfort; all are welcome in the Sanctuary!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude when we think of this past weekend’s Longest Table event. There was joy, laughter, and warm fellowship though the weather remained cold outside. We want to thank the hundreds of church members who cooked and hosted students. We also want to thank the many people who were out early setting up, in particular, our incredible deacons (especially Clint Streifling our Head Deacon). Finally, we are grateful for our partners, including Campus Security, Facility Services, Campus Sound, the Health and Physical Education Department, the Athletic Department, and the College Place Police Department. We are sad to inform you that our office manager, Nicole Reedy, plans to transition to a new job away from the University Church on October 11. Nicole, thank you for your professionalism, kindness, hard work, and wisdom. Thank you for being a team player and the many ways you have blessed this church and us personally. We will miss you tremendously. However, we take comfort in the knowledge that God will continue to use you to be a blessing to others in this new chapter of your life.          – Pastoral Staff

We are sad to announce that Jacqueline Beck passed away on Tuesday, September 17. A memorial service is planned for October 26 in Heubach Chapel.

Walter Litchfield sadly passed away last week. His memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 13 at 2pm in Heubach Chapel. 

Sabbath School teachers needed! Our children's classes need people to share wisdom, enthusiasm, and knowledge. If you can share one Sabbath a month, please contact the church office at 509.527.2800.

This Thanksgiving week, a WWU graduate student will film a beautiful and impactful short film about loving our neighbors; and that we’re all the same on the inside, no matter the color of our skin, or the country where we were born. Many film crew members will be from out of town, and housing budget is limited. If you know someone who could house a few crew members to help us tell this story, we’d love to have your help. SonBridge Thrift&Gift Store, staffed primarily by volunteers, helps financially support the SonBridge Education Center and Dental Clinic. SonBridge served our community with over 13,500 visits last year. Come support our community and SonBridge by shopping Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 10am-4pm!
